Five project types come up again and again. Each needs a different floor build-up, drainage approach and level of finish.

An integral single garage converted to a heated home office. Insulated floor build-up, new sockets and data points, radiator extended from the house system. Typically £9,000–£14,000.

A single garage converted for home training use. Heavier floor build-up to take equipment loading, extract ventilation, mirrors and high-level lighting. Typically £10,000–£15,000.

A double garage split into a bedroom, shower room and kitchenette for multigenerational living. Full drainage connection, escape window and fire separation as required by the warrant. Typically £18,000–£30,000.

A single garage converted into a family playroom. Warm insulated floor, built-in storage, durable washable finishes — the simplest specification to build and quickest to complete. Typically £8,000–£12,000.

Investigation and rebuild of an existing garage conversion where the original work omitted a damp-proof membrane or adequate insulation. The floor is lifted back to slab and rebuilt to the specification on our insulation and damp-proofing guide, since patching the surface never resolves it.
